Fitter Turner
Our client, a well-established engineering company based in Wiri, is seeking a skilled Fitter Turner to join their growing production team. This full-time, permanent role is based in a state-of-the-art facility and involves hands-on work manufacturing and modifying driveshafts for a wide range of industries.
About the Role:
- Assemble, fit, and maintain mechanical systems and components
- Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other precision tools
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Carry out fault diagnosis and mechanical repairs
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in mechanical fitting and manual machining
- MIG welding experience is essential
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Skilled in operating workshop machinery
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
