Our busy and well established civil client is seeking a keen and experienced concreter to join their new civil crew and assist them in delivering their increased workload.

The work will involve a range of concreting duties including remedial work throughout the Tasman district. The majority of the work will be based around footpaths and driveway crossings but may also include some small foundation work and culverts.

The work will see you working with others to complete end to end concreting jobs, this will include tying reinforcing, boxing and form-work, screeding, finishing and cutting.

Our Ideal Person

We're seeking someone who can work as part of a team and get along well with others to get things done. Your previous concreting experience will enable you to guide the rest of the team to complete the job to a high level.

You'll need to be hard working and dynamic, understanding that in the civil industry priorities change regularly.

To be successful in this role you'll need to have a minimum Full Class 1 New Zealand Drivers Licence (higher classes and endorsements will be highly regarded).

In addition to the above you'll need the following;

  • The ability to pass pre-employment checks including; Drug and Alcohol and criminal history
  • The right to work in New Zealand and relevant documentation to prove it
  • A current CV with contactable references
