AWF are looking for CNC Operators who have a minimum of three years' experience for five positions across Dunedin. You should have a good command of English both written and verbal.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum three years' experience operating CNC Lathe and or Milling machine in a production environment
- Be able to study mechanical drawings and specification and use appropriate material with the correct settings
- Previous experience operating machine advantageous (including, laser cutter, turret punch etc)
- Experience fabricating and/or manufacturing of metal-based products (Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Copper etc)
- Be able to run quality checks on the machined products to make sure it meets specification and requirements
- Experience Programming CNC machines using Fanuc and Mazatrol controllers advantageous but not necessary
- Reliable transport to get to and from work
- For health and safety reasons we will require the right applicant to pass a pre-employment drug screen and should also clear AWF's criminal background checks
