Overview
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Cleaner to join our commercial cleaning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various commercial spaces, and must be willing to work day, night, and weekend shifts with penal rates. This position has the potential to transition from temporary to permanent, and the ideal candidate must have their own transport and be a team player with a friendly demeanor and strong awareness of health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and sanitary commercial environment
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality cleanliness standards
- Utilize cleaning equipment and materials effectively and safely
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Collaborate with team members and management to achieve collective cleaning goals
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
- Prior commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work flexible hours, including day, night, and weekend shifts with penal rates
- Possession of own transport for reliable commuting to various work sites
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different cleaning techniques and equipment
- Strong team player with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Conscientious about health and safety regulations in a commercial cleaning environment
Day-to-day
- Clean and sanitize designated areas according to schedule
- Communicate with team members and management about any issues or concerns
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
