Civil Road Construction Worker - Class 5 & WTR Endorsement
About the Role
Join a respected civil construction team and play a key role in building and maintaining essential infrastructure across Canterbury. This position offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to work in some of New Zealand's most scenic locations.
- Travel throughout the greater Canterbury region, with occasional projects requiring up to 3 weeks away from home
- Some night work may be required
- Operate Class 5 vehicles and heavy machinery to support road construction activities
- Load, secure, and transport plant and equipment safely
- Assist with physical labouring tasks when not driving
What You'll Need
- Proven experience as a confident Class 5 driver within the civil construction sector
- WTR endorsement and capability to load and unload heavy machinery
- Ability to pass pre-employment checks, including Drug & Alcohol screening and Ministry of Justice clearance
- Physically fit with a proactive attitude-this is a hands-on role, not just driving
- Legal right to work in New Zealand (with proof)
