During these unprecedented times around COVID-19 there is a lot of uncertainty in the workforce. Once New Zealand Alert Level 4, shutdown has come to an end some of our clients have indicated that they will need to pick up where they have left off, and others have said they are going to come in hitting the ground running to catch up on lost time. However as we have never experienced a situation like this we cannot predict the future. We are currently taking expressions of interest for the expected demand for a hands on workforce to begin working once we it has been declared safe to do so. About the company:

Your new company has multiple operations through out the country. They offer varied work with professional growth and training opportunities. Their yard is based in Thorndon and you will leave from here each morning, they're looking for committed employees with the opportunity to start immediately in a full time position.

What you will be doing:

You will be operating a class 2 tipper truck. This will have you loading your truck at the quarry to take materials to site. Their will be laboring tasks involved, including using a shovel and assisting to lay ducting or pipes, so you will need to be able to get of the truck and help the team out on the ground. Training will be supplied for laboring tasks and driving if needed.

What you need:

  • Class 2 Drivers License
  • WTR endorsements - is not needed but beneficial
  • Construct Safe - we can put you help you get this


What you will get in return:
