We are seeking skilled and non-skilled Asphalt Workers to join our dedicated team in the Waikato region. You'll be an integral part of our team, assisting with a wide range of civil construction projects!

This is a night shift role, Sunday to Thursday, 6pm-4am (can be subject to change depending on project requirements.)

Previous experience in Asphalt labouring or machine operating would be an advantage but if you have a keen attitude and a willingness to learn, keep reading.

In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for:

• Hand-laying, spreading, smoothing, and finishing asphalt on footpaths and kerbs.
• Operating rollers and plate compactors to ensure durable, high-quality surfaces.
• Maintaining a safe, efficient work environment while focused on workmanship and teamwork.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Full Class 1 New Zealand Driver's Licence (Class 2 desirable)
• WTR endorsements and/or Roller experience.
• Experience in asphalt or civil construction is an advantage-training can be provided if you have a willingness to learn.
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay rate will be dependent on experience, ranging from $28-$31 an hour.
