We are seeking a Formwork Carpenter for projects in the construction/civil space for sites based in South Auckland.
You will be required to assist with building moulds to specifications (size and shape) for pouring concrete. This will require you to be confident in measuring, cutting and assembling formwork panels using various materials including wood, metal and prefabricated systems.
You will ideally have at least 4 years' experience in formwork and have the ability to communicate well with other staff and subcontractors to complete the required jobs on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail in every project
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold company values
You will be required to have:
- At least four years of experience in Formwork Carpentry
- Clean Class 1 license
- Your own set of tools that relate to Formwork
In return, you will be:
- Competitive hourly rate of $28 - $30
- Full time ongoing Monday - Friday, hours approximately 7am-5pm
