As a result of internal career progression, we are looking for our next Candidate Consultant to help take our team into the next phase of their growth.

Central to this role will involve supporting our Recruitment Consultants and Divisional Manager in growing our business. Our Engineering division is the highest achieving AWF team for 4 years in a row!

As part of your role, you will be provided with a detailed brief with the skill sets clearly defined that we are looking for in candidates for our roles. Hunting for the perfect fit will be a key element of your role, you will be able to craft a good quality advert and think outside of the box when it comes to attracting the best talent to come and work for our awesome clients.

Your ability to connect with our candidates and build trust is vital. We are incredibly proud of our business and how we do things, and that shines through in how we engage with our candidates, clients and with each other.

Your average day:

  • Advert writing, posting on our CRM and relevant job boards and management of all job advertisements and applications
  • Investigate creative sourcing methods to secure the best talent
  • Phone screening all candidate applications and replying to candidates promptly
  • Monitoring applicant progress throughout the recruitment process
  • Completion of reference checks, background checks, and compliance
  • Writing of CV and profile summaries
  • Giving the best candidate experience we can to our candidates
  • Ad hoc administration tasks
  • Work with our fantastic team and have fun!

Do you have:

  • At least 1 years experience doing agency recruitment or similar
  • Proven administration skills - experience working with computers and various software programmes is a must
  • Service and sales oriented. You'll be naturally warm, engaging, curious and able to build relationships quickly with both candidates and internal stakeholders alike
  • Flexible and adaptable. You'll be capable of responding quickly to changing priorities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication are vital to the success of this role
  • As you will be joining a very driven team, you will have a similar focus. Attitude is important - we can teach the rest!
