AWF is delighted to be partnering our client in their search for a Warehouse and Retail Assistant, and finding a person who is the right fit for their team is paramount. They are a successful Sydenham based company who supply product across New Zealand, along with their own show room and retail operation. They pride themselves on their ability to exceed client expectations through customer service, filling and dispatching orders, and having quality products on hand when required.
They are efficient, well organised, have great systems and have developed a team that is genuinely committed to enhancing the business every day. They offer variety in their work, ongoing training and great working conditions. They work Monday to Friday 7am-5pm and this role with cover the retail operation during breaks. This is a great role for someone who has 1-2 years stores experience and keen to further develop their skills.
To be our perfect fit you will
- Have previous experience in stores (1-2 years) - inwards goods, pick/packing and dispatch - and have a proven record of reliability and commitment to your work
- Place a strong empathise on customer service
- Be enthusiastic and open to learning
- Enjoy working in a team and be genuinely supportive of others.
Ideally you will also have an OSH forklift certificate, be computer literate and be happy to be on your feet for most of the day.
