We are looking for an achievement focused, flexible and resilient person to deliver training outcomes for our workforce in the field and internally for our employees. This busy hands on role plays an integral part in the success of our organisation. Extensive travel is a key component to this role, and you will be part of the Auckland based HR team however do not need to be Auckland based.

This role could be based at any of the AWF locations.

About the role:

* Facilitate courses with a focus on Constructsafe assessment, Site Safe, Traffic Control (TC) and Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS)

* To be a qualified TC trainer, you must hold TC ticket for 3 months, then hold an STMS ticket for a year, before being able to proceed to obtain a trainer TC qualification

* Be mobile and able to readily travel as 70% of the role will likely involve out of town travel

* Create and maintain training programmes

* Design e-learning, classroom and workshops training content and material as required

* Coach and mentor individuals in relation to the completion of training outcomes

* Assess learning needs for individuals and the organisation and liaise with Managers to establish staff training plans

* Manage training development and delivery in accordance with the budget

Skills and Attributes:

* Experience in or sound knowledge of the roading and construction industry, you must have the ability to gain a training qualification in traffic control (as per above)

* Good knowledge of Recruitment Industry training requirements, and ability to deliver training in small groups

* Demonstrates an understanding of personalities and behavioural styles in order to work collaboratively with a variety of people and to make informed decisions around compliance or needs based training

* Proven track record of managing a budget

* Proficient in the Microsoft suite, eg Excel, Word, Powerpoint

* Technical experience L & D management systems and training

* Highly articulate (verbally and written), and has the ability to adapt to change and considers new approaches
