Steel Factory workers

A local steel company is looking for staff to work in their dispatch division. The role requires lifting, manual work and use of hand power tools, so a good level of fitness is required.

Cadetships are also on offer for the right person showing a want or passion for the steel industry. We have day shifts, night shifts and weekend shifts available, all 10hr shifts

Our client is also looking for DNC Press Operators or those who can operate CNC machinery etc

Skills & Experience

• Able to lift and carry heavy objects, predominantly steel

• Endurance during long shift hours (10hrs)

• Be continuously on your feet for hours at a time

• Good hand-eye coordination

• Good understanding & ability to use hand power tools

• Forklift license with F endorsement (would be a bonus but not essential)
