Site Engineer

We are looking for an experienced site engineer for a large scale major project shaping Wellington's future.

What you'll be doing:

  • Plan and oversee daily site engineering activities to meet programme deadlines and cost targets
  • Prepare and manage construction work packs for allocated scopes of work
  • Maintain accurate site records, daily diaries and cost control documentation
  • Work closely with design, safety, procurement and construction teams to support smooth delivery
  • Assist with construction sequencing, work methodologies and delivery planning
  • Ensure health, safety and environmental controls are implemented and adhered to on site

What we are looking for:

  • A tertiary qualification in engineering or a related discipline
  • A minimum of two years' experience in civil or infrastructure construction
  • Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and apply them on site
  • Good understanding of construction methods and site processes
  • Clear communication skills with a collaborative, team-focused approach
  • The ability to remain calm, organised and methodical in a fast-paced site environment
