We're excited to be growing our presence in Christchurch and are looking for a motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our newly created Civil & Construction team.

About the Role
As part of our growing Civil & Construction team, you'll partner with contractors, project managers, and businesses across the sector to deliver workforce solutions that keep projects moving.

You'll have the opportunity to shape and grow your market while building a strong network of clients and candidates throughout Christchurch and the wider region.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing new business opportunities within the Civil & Construction sector
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
• Sourcing, interviewing, and placing candidates into temporary and permanent roles
• Growing and managing your own client portfolio
• Conducting site visits and meeting clients face-to-face
• Ensuring compliance with AWF processes and employment obligations
• Championing AWF's commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing

About You
You'll thrive in this role if you:

Ideally, You'll Bring

• Minimum 2 years' experience in recruitment, labour hire, or a customer-focused role
• Recruitment or construction industry experience is advantageous, but not essential
• A proven ability to achieve KPIs and sales targets
• Strong communication and influencing skills
