Our client is an established and well-respected family focused medical practice in Whanganui. They are looking for an enthusiastic medical receptionist with excellent customer service and communication skills to join their team in a part-time position, 20 hours per week.

This interesting role includes a variety of general reception duties, meeting and greeting patients, assisting with patient enquiries, general invoicing and cash management tasks and other administrative duties. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional service to a wide range of people.


To be successful in your application you will:

  • Be committed to providing exceptional customer service to patients
  • Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, variable environment
  • Have a strong work ethic and be a true team player
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Be an experienced MS Office user

Health industry experience would be preferable but is not essential.
