We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Production Workers to join a busy engineering workshop based in East Tamaki. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering high-quality finished products. This opportunity is for an afternoon shift, working 4:00pm - 12:00am.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assembling components and sub-assemblies using hand tools and detailed work instructions
- Reading and interpreting basic engineering drawings to complete assembly tasks accurately
- Sanding and finishing products
- Packing finished goods securely and preparing them for dispatch
- Labelling products and ensuring correct identification for delivery
- Carrying out quality checks to Identifying and report defects or non-conforming items
What You Need:
- Previous experience in engineering, assembly, or manufacturing
- Ability to read and follow basic engineering drawingsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and in a team
- Reliable, punctual, and a positive attitude
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive tasks
