About the Role
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating production equipment, monitoring performance, and making adjustments to ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and adjust production machinery and equipment
- Monitor process performance through control systems and respond to alarms or deviations
- Replenish production lines to maintain consistent output
- Carry out quality checks and testing to ensure products meet required specifications
- Safely operate forklifts and other plant equipment
- Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and operational excellence
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, processing, or technical operating environment
- Forklift License (bonus!)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence working with machinery
- Good numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- A proactive approach to health, safety, and quality standards
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and Ministry of Justice check
