AWF are seeking a down to earth multi tasker with exceptional people skills and phone manners.

About the role;

This part time role has come about due to increased demand and so is in addition to the already fabulous team. This role will likely suit someone entering back into the work force looking for a new opportunity but also wanting more in the future.

Our client is a busy medical practice in Invercargill city, the role involves all reception duties supporting the amazing established team within reception. This is fast paced work and certainly not for the faint of heart and really requires someone with high levels of attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities. You will be responsible for front desk and telephone patient service, including billing and transacting, note taking and appointment making.

The role will often feel a million miles an hour and therefore isn't for everyone but for those that enjoy working quickly and consistently it will be an absolute dream.

Medical reception experience would be advantageous however is not essential, the most important thing being a calm demeanour, great attitude and the ability to work alongside other to achieve the best patient outcomes.

About you;

Your kind nature will lend you to being keen to help others, you will require very strong phone skills and an excellent grasp of the English language. You will be able to take precise notes and be regimental in ensuring that nothing is missed an appointments are made accurately.

You will be honest and keep confidences well, as you will be dealing with peoples information this is vital.

Most of all you will be down to earth and get on well with others.

In addition to the above you will need the following to be successful in this role;

  • The right to work in New Zealand and relevant documentation to prove it
  • A current CV with contactable references
  • The ability to pass pre-employment checks including drug and alcohol, criminal history and ACC history
  • Be available on Monday, Tuesday and addition days from time to time
  • Excellent grasp of the English language, including written and oral.
