AWF is proud to be partnering Talley's Ashburton in their search for a Maintenance Fitter. As a company they take pride in bringing you the best of NZ, and their Ashburton site is dedicated to processing their vegetable lines.

The location - Ashburton - offers a family friendly environment with good schools, a short commute to work, more affordable housing than many cities - as well as lakes, rivers, the sea, and ski fields all within easy reach……

They are a 24/7 manufacturing environment and fitter work a 12-hour shift roster of 4 on, 4 off - (nights 6pm-6am). Whilst on shift you will work across the site, gaining exposure to mechanically operated plant through to automated high speed processing machines, and robotic technology.

You

You will bring a trade qualification, fitting skills, exposure to hydraulics, pneumatics, and a strong mechanical aptitude.

You be the kind of person who enjoys challenge, can think on your feet, has well developed diagnostic and problem-solving skills!
