We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Dispatcher to join our Te Rapa team! If you're confident with logistics systems, great at communicating with drivers and customers, and ready to keep things moving, this is your chance. Immediate start available for the right person!
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Hours may vary during training)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Start: Immediate
Key Duties:
- Coordinate daily dispatch schedules and driver routes
- Communicate with drivers and customers to ensure timely deliveries
- Update and maintain logistics databases accurately
- Monitor freight movements and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Liaise with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading
- Handle customer queries and provide excellent service
What we need from you:
- Strong experience using logistics databases
- Excellent communication skills with drivers and customers
- Ability to work through Christmas and New Year
- Reliable transport and a clean criminal history
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Proven references
- Forklift licence would be an advantage (or willingness to gain one)
