AWF have a great opportunity for a loader or telehandler operator to join our clients busy Invercargill site.
The role will mostly involve operating a telehandler to load, screen and blend stockfood inside of a shed, but may also involve other yard duties such as general housekeeping and cleaning of machinery. The work is fairly repetitive at times especially initially while you're getting into the swing of things.
The work is Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend included especially when stockfood is arriving.
This role is great for someone with prior loader or telehandler experience looking to use their current skills and also may wish to work towards furthering themselves and their licences in the logistics sector, our client is a major player in the transport sector who care about their people and love to see them grow and develop.
This is a temporary role with the potential to go permanent for the right person.

Our successful applicant;
To be successful in this role you need to be capable of operating a loader or telehandler safely and within an at times, tight environment. The days are at times quite long and the work can be quite repetitive so some experience with repetitive work would be an advantage but not essential.
We need someone who is down to earth an able to get along with others in a team but also self driven and able work individually.
Mostly we're looking for someone reliable who's keen and willing to get stuck in to get the job done.
As well as the above you'll need the following for this role;
- A New Zealand Class 2 Licence with W endorsement
- The right to work in New Zealand and relevant documentation to prove it
- The ability to pass pre-employment checks including drugs and alcohol
- A current CV with contactable references
