Our client is looking for 3 Labourers / Assistant Sextons to do cemetery maintenance and sexton duties.
About the role
- Operate a ride on and manual lawn mowers
- Assist with grounds keeping
- Clear clutter from grave sites
- Maintain gardens and lawns
- Assist at funerals and with backfills
Benefits & work arrangement
- 3 available positions for the following locations:
- Manukau Memorial Gardens in Wiri
- North Shore Memorial Park in Schnapper Rock
- Work from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Salary is $22.00 per hour + holiday pay and paid weekly
- You'll also receive Kiwisaver + ACC Cover + full PPE gear at no cost
Job requirement
- Good level of physical fitness
- Punctual with great attitude and work ethics
- Having a reliable transport is advantageous
- Pass a drug screen & disclose criminal convictions
- Have at least 2 contactable references
