Drainlayer / Drainage Labourer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Drainlayer or Drainage Labourer to join a well-established civil and drainage team operating across the North Shore and West Auckland.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of stormwater, wastewater and sewer pipelines
• Excavation and trench work
• Pipe laying and drainage construction
• Assisting machine operators and drainlayers
• Reading and following site plans
• Site preparation and reinstatement
• General labouring duties as required
• Maintaining a safe and tidy worksite
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

Skills & Experience

• Previous drainage, civil, construction or infrastructure experience
• Experience working in and around trenches
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
• Reliable and punctual
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Essential Requirements

• Current Class 1 Driver Licence - NON-NEGOTIABLE
• Reliable transport to and from work
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
