Being part of our casual team means you could get work on a day to day basis and are able to choose when you want to work. If you have the drive and passion you could get the opportunity to transition to on-going or permanent work. You will also have the opportunity to work with some of New Zealand's big companies and of course some of the local ones too.
So, what does joining our team involve?
You will need to pass a pre employment drug test, have no previous convictions, have no medical conditions that may stop you from working, and you will also need the right to work in NZ .If you meet the criteria you could be working almost immediately after registration.
Don't be discouraged if you don't have a car, if you are willing to travel on public transport most of our sites are accessible via bus or train.
You will get paid weekly - this is an absolute guarantee!
AWF provide you will all the PPE & Safety gear required to keep you safe on site.
You will gain some invaluable skills and experience.
If you are travelling within New Zealand we can send your paperwork to our other branches to start work locally.
Some of what you may be doing might include:
- Moving bricks on a building site
- Demolition of old buildings
- Helping builders with renovations
- Building cycle paths
- Wheel barrowing rubbish on a construction site
- Carrying building materials up driveways
- Site clean ups
And any other task that may be required by the Client
