Knife Hand Wanted - We are seeking a reliable and skilled Fine Knife Worker to join a busy fish processing manufacturing operation. This role is ideal for someone with strong knife skills who takes pride in precision, quality, and working safely in a fast-paced production environment. This position suits candidates with experience in: Fine knife work within food processing, Fish gutting, filleting, trimming, portioning, Manufacturing or production line environments.
What You'll Be Doing: Gutting fish accurately and efficiently, Filleting, trimming, and portioning fish products using fine knife skills, working on a production line to meet quality and output targets, following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times, maintaining a clean, tidy, and sanitary work area, working as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations.
What You Need: Proven fine knife skills (fish processing experience preferred), Confidence with fish gutting and handling raw product, Ability to work in a cold, wet, and fast-paced manufacturing environment, good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail, Physical fitness and comfort with repetitive tasks, Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic, understanding of food safety standards, or willingness to learn.
