We are looking for an achievement focused, flexible and resilient person to coordinate both the recruitment and HR functions within AWF. This busy hands on role plays an integral part in the success of our organisation.

About the role:

* Providing sound advice that is compliant with company policies, processes and NZ legislation

* Support and coach managers, build internal relationships

* Provision of HR and ER advice across all generalist areas including performance management, employee relations, policy interpretation, change management and organisational structure

* Ensure development and implementation of best practice recruitment framework that enables the business to source quality internal talent

* Provide support to annual performance processes and remuneration reviews

* Provide HR Administration such as preparing Employment Agreements, letters and

onboarding/exiting documentation

* Undertake HR projects

* Provide effective and regular reporting, analysis and commentary with recommendations for improvement

What are we requiring from you:

* Minimum of four years' experience as an HR Generalist; including ER and recruitment experience (either internal or agency)

* A sound understanding of NZ Employment Legislation and Human Resource best practices and trends

* The ability to work under pressure and with changing demands maintaining high energy

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

* High attention to detail and process orientated with excellent organisational skills

* Proven ability to build rapport and credibility with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders

* Strong ability in managing the Microsoft Office suite (in particular excel)

* The ability to deal with sensitive issues in a tactful and confidential manner
