Front of House Customer Service Representative - Local Bakery in Hastings.

AWF is recruiting on behalf of a local bakery for an experienced Front of House Customer Service Representative. We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, and confident serving customers in a busy retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Operating EFTPOS and cash registers accurately
  • Handling cash transactions and balancing till payments
  • Serving and packaging bakery products
  • Maintaining clean and attractive product displays
  • Restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels
  • Assisting with general front-of-house duties as required


Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience with EFTPOS and cash handling is essential
  • Proven customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with transactions
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
