We're looking for experienced Structural / Formwork Carpenters with essential large‑scale bridge construction experience to join crews delivering major civil infrastructure projects shaping Wellington's future.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Carry out structural and formwork carpentry on large‑scale bridge projects
- Build, install and strip complex formwork systems
- Work accurately from plans, drawings and specifications
- Support concrete pours and structural works to programme requirements
- Work closely with forepersons, engineers and site teams
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and health & safety requirements
- Maintain a safe, tidy and well‑organised work area
- Contribute to a positive and productive site culture
What You Need:
- Proven experience as a Structural / Formwork Carpenter on large‑scale bridge projects (essential)
- Strong formwork, falsework and concrete carpentry skills
- Ability to confidently read and interpret construction drawings
- Solid understanding of health and safety on major infrastructure sites
- Reliable, motivated and able to work well within a team
- Valid Class 1 driver licence (preferred)
- Experience on complex or major civil infrastructure projects
