Fleet Manager

About the role:

  • Manage a team of 20 staff
  • Recruitment, induction and training your staff
  • Maintain weekly roster
  • Make decisions based on budgets and forecast
  • Responsible for grooming, logistics and safety of a fleet in excess of 2000 vehicles
  • Meeting KPI's
  • Reporting to Branch Manager
  • Ensuring all vehicle availability and quality standards are met
  • Monday-Friday, however during the busy season may be required to work the occasional day in the weekend, with a day off mid week

About you:

  • Must have experience managing similar sized teams
  • Natural ability to lead and to motivate
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to report accurately and insightfully
  • Have a passion for customer service
  • Understand the principles of LEAN processes and procedures
  • Take pride in presentation
  • Experienced in HR procedures (training and managing staff)
