They are a successful general engineering company who are well-resourced and are proud to service a variety of clients in the Wellington area, as well as providing services to the dairy sector during the milking off season.

The job -

Your skill base will come from a mechanical or general engineering, and you may have some welding and machining skills. You will have had 2 to 3 years work experience in the engineering or technical sector.

Being workshop based you will be involved tasks such as stripping and fitting valves, general mechanical repairs and maintenance, servicing and assisting Tradesmen as required.

You may be assigned to client sites, and if there is interest you may be offered out of town work (South Island). Typically hours are 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday, though regular overtime is required (and is paid at penal rates).
