Are you an experienced Class 5 driver looking for flexible work and the potential to secure a permanent role? We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused driver to join our client, delivering and unloading steel products to sites across New Plymouth. This is a fixed-term opportunity working three days per week, with the potential to move into full-time employment for the right candidate.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Transporting materials and products across sites
- Supporting site operations with general duties as needed
- Manual handling and heavy lifting of product
- Operating vehicles safely and efficiently in varied environments
What You Need
- Full Class 5 New Zealand Driver Licence
- HIAB qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Strong understanding of load restraint and transport safety requirements
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- A strong commitment to health and safety practices
