Class 5 Driver - Rotorua
Are you an experienced Class 5 Driver looking for your next opportunity in Rotorua? We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused professional to join our team, with work scheduled to commence in mid-September. This is a hands-on position that combines driving responsibilities with minimal general labouring duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in delivering quality work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating Class 5 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Transporting materials, equipment, and goods to and from worksites
- Operating machinery where required under Wheels, Tracks and Rollers endorsements
- Handling and transporting dangerous goods in accordance with regulations and company procedures
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials
- Performing general labouring and physical work as required
- Completing vehicle checks and maintaining accurate records
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and site requirements
What You Need
- Full Class 5 New Zealand Driver Licence
- Current Wheels, Tracks and Rollers (WTR) Endorsements
- Current Dangerous Goods (DG) Endorsement
- Proven experience operating heavy vehicles and machinery
- Good understanding of transport safety and compliance requirements
- Physically fit and willing to undertake manual labouring duties
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
