We're seeking a qualified Boiler Technician to join a well-established dairy manufacturing site in Morrinsville. This site-based role is ideal for an experienced boiler or steam plant operator who values safety, compliance, and plant reliability. You'll be responsible for the safe operation and monitoring of critical boiler and steam systems supporting production.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operating, monitoring, and maintaining boiler and steam plant systems
  * Conducting routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance
  * Responding to alarms, faults, and breakdowns to minimise downtime
  * Monitoring and supporting water treatment processes and chemical dosing
  * Using control systems and plant monitoring software to assess performance
  * Completing operational logs, compliance records, and documentation
  * Working closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams
  * Providing after-hours on-call support when required (primarily phone-based)
  * Ensuring all work meets health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

What You Need:

• ENChem Level 4 qualification (mandatory)
  * Experience operating or maintaining boilers or steam plant in an industrial environment
  * Mechanical trade qualification (preferred)
  * Water treatment knowledge or experience (highly regarded)
  * Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and plant procedures
  * Good fault-finding skills and attention to detail
  * Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with stakeholders
