West Auckland - Civil / Drainage Works
Typical Civil & Drainage Work
Depending on experience, duties may include:
- Stormwater and wastewater repairs, investigations, blockages, and overflows
- Assisting drainlayers with trenching, dig‑ups, repairs, and reinstatements
- Supporting CCTV drainage investigations and asset inspections
- Assisting with pressurised sewer connections
- Manual labouring on planned civil maintenance works
This work is outdoors, physically demanding, and suited to those with a background in civil, drainage, plumbing, or landscaping.
South Auckland - Construction
Typical Construction Work
Work will primarily involve assisting with small residential, prefab, or modular home builds, including:
- General hammer hand duties
- Assisting carpenters and trades on site
- Framing assistance, fix‑out, and general build support
- Use of hand and power tools
- Material handling, labouring, and site clean‑ups
- Supporting safe, efficient day‑to‑day site operations
This work suits candidates with traditional construction or building labour experience looking to grow with a steady construction crew.
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in civil construction, drainage, building, or general construction
- Strong English communication skills (essential)
- Basic IT skills (timesheets, job systems, tablets)
- Physically fit, reliable, and safety‑focused
- Full Class 1 driver licence required
- Class 2 licence and WTR endorsements an advantage
- Full work rights in New Zealand
- Seeking ongoing, long‑term work in civil or construction
