AWF is an accredited training organization and provides safety, injury prevention and skills based training programmes.
AWF is an active trainer in the construction sector, having taken scores of students through a cadet max programme in basic carpentry at the AWF Training School. Following completion, selected trainees have been offered carpentry apprenticeships by AWF as a Modern Apprenticeship Provider.
With other trades, AWF is actively involved with various industry membership, training and certification bodies with the objective of continuing to source programmes that add value to our employees and clients.
AWF has its own team of salaried accredited Site Safe and Traffic Control trainers stationed across the country. Each year, as Site Safe New Zealand’s largest private trainer, AWF certifies more than 2,000 of its employees.
