Our Temporary Staff Recruitment Process
For the prospective temporary worker, we ask that they visit one of our dedicated AWF Manufacturing and Logistics branches in the main centres or call in to one of the 27 AWF Labour branches to discuss your ambitions with them. Following a brief interview, we will arrange a time for induction, security and drug screening and a one on one interview. At this stage we address Health and Safety in the workplace together with courtesy, work ethic, compensation and of course the terms of an Employment Agreement. Most often, provided the skills match the needs of the moment we will be able to place a temporary worker in work within a day.
If you are in business and seeking to employ temporary labour, simply give us a call. If we haven’t dealt with your business in the past then we will ask you to complete account opening documentation before we proceed. Following that we will ask you a series of questions about the type of worker you are seeking. This is designed to ensure the right staff is provided; that we are providing them into a Safe and Healthy environment; and that we know all of your requirements for commencement and onwards. We may ask to visit your site to see the work environment, to assist us in providing the right staff.
