FAQs

Q. How long would it take for you to find the temporary staff I am seeking?

A. Depending on the level of skills you are requiring for the particular position, it is likely that we could fill your job in 24 hours. We have a database of thousands of workers many of whom make temporary employment their occupation. There is always a good chance that one will be finishing their last assignment and will match the skills you require. If not we will do the search for you and quite often we will still fill your job in one day.

Q. Will I be able to rely on the temporary staff to get the job done?

A. This is always our aim. We recruit staff who we feel confident will be honest, reliable and hard working. We vet them before we employ them to ensure a clean security record and we drug test randomly or at your request. We will not always get it right but if we don’t we will fix it immediately at no cost to you.

Q.  Will the construction workers I require come ready for work?

A.  If you are seeking a qualified carpenter then he/she will come with their own full tool of trade. If you are looking perhaps for a hammerhand then we will ensure they come with belt, hammer and basics of the trade. All of our employees will present to your work site with full Personal Protective Equipment i.e. hardhat, highviz vest, hearing and eye protection, safety boots and any other safety wear you stipulate.

Q.  Will the staff I seek have be Site Safe trained?

A.  For construction and roading sites we endeavour to have available sufficient trained staff to meet our customer’s on-going requirements. As AWF Labour has its own Site Safe and Traffic Control trainers across the country we are able to train new staff quickly but sometimes will need to place inducted but untrained staff with you whilst they wait up to 10 days for a course.
